①Principle: early rice dense planting, medium rice sparse planting; short-fertility quality dense planting, long-fertility varieties sparse planting; poor tiller capacity varieties dense planting, strong tiller capacity varieties sparse planting; in addition, according to the fertility situation appropriate adjustment of general fertile fields can be properly sparse planting.   

② Density: According to the fertility situation, cultivation level, cultivars, etc. to reasonably determine the appropriate cultivation density, to achieve reasonable dense planting. General planting specifications are: 18~25×12~14cm for early rice, 25~30×20~24cm for middle rice.
